WEB REDESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
PROPOSAL FOR
MARK ABLANG
Introduction
Thank you for considering our services for your portfolio website project. Per our discussion, I understand you require a portfolio website for three of your companies, Rebex Realty, Fast Solutions and Technology, and Kabigkis Mutual Benefit Association, Inc..
We are excited to work with you on this project and help you showcase your company’s success stories and expertise to potential clients. We aim to create a professional and visually appealing website that accurately represents your brand and values.
To achieve this, We propose the following steps:
- Discovery Phase
- Design Phase
- Development Phase
- Testing and Launch Phase: Before launching the website
For a more in-depth understanding of each phase and the associated timelines, we encourage you to refer to the dedicated section titled “Process and Timelines.” Here, you will find comprehensive information outlining the specific details and schedules of each phase.
We estimate this project will take approximately three to five weeks per website to complete.
We’ll design your website to reflect the best of your organization and ensure that it’s responsive to whatever kind of device your potential customers are using. This will have all sorts of benefits including:
- Increase your reach to tablet and mobile devices
- Consistency in design and brand
- Improved conversion rates
We have explained more about how we plan to achieve this in the next pages.
Please read through the information carefully and, if satisfied, you can use our ‘E-Sign’ system right here in your proposal to accept and get started!
YOUR NEW WEBSITE
Having designed multiple websites in our 15 years and many being similar to your situation, there are several components to your site which would benefit you greatly
Recommended content for the sites
HOMEPAGE
A homepage is the main web page of a website, serving as the first page that visitors see when they load a URL. It acts as a starting point for new and returning visitors, providing an overview of the website’s offerings. Overall, a homepage is essential for orienting visitors and directing their user experience.
ABOUT / Who you are / What you do
We suggest new team photos and action shots of people working.
These are great and far better than stock photos which unfortunately litters your industry.
SERVICES
This should be split up into the primary reasons people buy your services, with labeled headers to match.
For example ‘Bookkeeping’, ‘Saving Tax’ and ‘Audits’. Doing this means people can relate your headers to solutions to their problems in a fast and effective manner.
PORTFOLIO
This section will allow potential clients to see the results of your work and understand how you can help them achieve their business goals. By highlighting your expertise and success stories, you can build trust and credibility with your audience and attract new business opportunities.
Let’s create a Portfolio section that will help you stand out in a crowded market and demonstrate your value to potential clients.
TESTIMONIALS / CASE STUDIES
Listing clients are great, testimonials are better but giving it some context in a case study is considerably better.
A range of case studies will serve you for years to come.
CONTACT / CALL TO ACTION / INQUIRY
The page where people can place their reservations or inquiries.
We’ll strategically place a contact form at the bottom of each page that makes sense.
Relax, all of our websites are 'Responsive'. Computer, Tablet or Phone - it will look great!
PROCESS AND TIMESCALES
Step 1 Design interview
We need to get to the bottom of who you are, what you stand for and who you stand beside.
Only then can we begin to create a design that portrays the value you offer in a way that resonates with the people who matter: the people you want to do business with.
Step 2 Design presentation
A design concept will be designed. Naturally, there will be a common theme but we try to think outside the box and come up with something that isn’t obvious. This is often where the best ideas come from.
We’ll go through these options and decide which direction to take and any adjustments.
Step 3 Website content
Now we have your design locked in, we can begin to construct the website.
Hi-res Photos Photos and Videos will need to be gathered at this stage.
Step 4 Website build
Using everything we’ve gathered, your website is built. Once it’s done, we’ll present it to you and go through the details in accordance with the objectives originally set.
Any amends are made at this stage.
Step 5 Launch
The launch process is a carefully considered one. We need to ensure email addresses don’t go down, the site doesn’t have any downtime.
This is something we’ve done hundreds of times before.
We operate to a checklist that we’ve curated over the years and it’s not failed us once.
We will launch according to your specified date to give us the best chance of getting any issues ironed out.
You can sleep easy knowing we’ll be on-call over your launch weekend to ensure everything goes according to plan.
TIMELINE
In total, it will take us between 4 – 6 weeks to get your website live.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need a website maintenance service?
Web hosting providers may or may not update your Core software for you (please check their policy), but all web hosts will not update your plugins.
Website plugins are created by multiple authors and are consistently updated to newer versions to comply with the latest version of software or to address security issues and bugs. It is not guaranteed that the mandated updates to the Core plugins will not break the website, nor that plugins will continue to function if not updated.
For this reason, having a trained web specialist on hand to monitor the website is necessary to update plugins, rollback plugins, replace plugins or even adjust the theme to continue optimal performance
What is included in the service?
- Update Core System to the latest version
- Update plugins to their latest version
- Backup website database and site files (once a month)
- Optimize the database
- Perform SPAM & revisions cleanup
- Run regular security and performance scans
- Perform support requests
- Provide a detailed Monthly Report of updates and findings
- Provide ongoing email support
Additionally, the following “behind the scenes” features are included in every plan:
- A dedicated support desk to track requests and development time
- Regular site health checks
- Uptime monitoring to keep us aware of any site performance issues.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel anytime. You are under no obligation to continue the ongoing service. We just ask you to give us 5 days’ notice so we can carry out our last thorough update of the website and remove our administrator credentials.
How do I contact you when I have a problem?
For faster communication, you can directly message us either via Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Viber, or Whatsapp or email us at support@akdesignsph.com
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Summary

As the customer, you have the power and ability to enter into this contract on behalf of your company or organization. You agree to provide us with everything that we need to complete the project including text, images, fonts, and other information as and when we need it, and in the format that we ask for. You agree to review our work, provide feedback, and sign-off approval in a timely manner and are bound by any deadlines that we set together. You also agree to keep to the payment schedule set out in this proposal.
We have the experience and ability to perform the services you need and we will carry them out in a professional and timely manner. We will endeavor to meet all the deadlines set but am not responsible for a missed launch date or a deadline if you have been late in supplying materials or have not approved our work on time at any stage. We will also maintain the confidentiality of any information that you give me.
Details of the works
We will create designs for the look, layout, and functionality of your website. This contract includes one main design and two opportunities for you to make revisions to the final design. If you are not happy with the design at that point, we will provide you with an additional quote for the extra design work needed. If instead, you wish to cancel our agreement, you may do so and we will retain the initial payment for the work completed to date.
HTML/CSS layout templates
We will develop using valid HTML5 markup and CSS3 for styling. We will test all our markup and CSS in current versions of all major browsers including those made by Apple, Microsoft, Mozilla, Google, and Opera.
We will not test these templates in old or abandoned browsers, for example, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, 5.5, or 6 for Windows or Mac, previous versions of Apple’s Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera unless otherwise specified.
Text content
We are not responsible for writing or inputting any text copy. We will be happy to help, but significant work on our part will result in a charge above and beyond the original price. This will not be done without your approval of an additional quote provided in advance.
Photographs
If needed, you will supply us photographs either in digital or printed format. If you choose to buy stock photographs that price will be added to the initial quote. Stock photography will not be purchased without your written approval.
Changes and revisions
The estimate/quotation prices in this proposal are based on the time we estimate. We will need to accomplish everything that you have told us you want to achieve. If you do want to change your mind, add extra pages or templates, or even add new functionality, that won’t be a problem. At that time you will be provided with an additional quote for the extra work.
Technical support
As agreed, the quote provided includes the installation and set up of your site on our server as well as the implementation of Google Analytics. Updates to, and management of that server, plus any support issues.
This includes technical support for website hosting, email, or other services relating to website hosting. If you do require help with anything beyond the design and development of your site, we will be happy to help.
Legal
We are not liable to you or any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate this website and any other web pages—even if you have advised us of the possibilities of such damages.
If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason is unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Copyrights
You guarantee us that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork that you provide us for inclusion in the website are either owned by you or that you have permission to use them.
When we receive your final payment, copyright is automatically assigned as follows:
You own the graphics and other visual elements that we create for you for this project unless the license is free
You also own text content, photographs, and other data you provided unless someone else owns them. We own the HTML markup, CSS, and other code and license it to you for use on only this project.
I also reserve the right to display and link to your completed project as part of our portfolio and to write about the project on websites, in magazine articles, and in books.
Payments
As agreed, our payment schedule will be as follows but may be revised based on further conversations between us.
[50%] of total fee upon agreement of initial design: [deposit fee]
[50%] of total fee on completion of the project before the launch: [balance]
You cannot transfer this contract to anyone else without our permission. This contract stays in place and need not be renewed. If for some reason one part of this contract becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts of it remain in place.
